Facts
Facts are free-text information added directly to the knowledge base. This is useful for information that isn’t available on a web page – internal policies, brand guidelines, product specifications, key people, company details, and anything else your assistants should know.
Adding a Fact
- Content – The fact text (can be multiple paragraphs)
- Context Label – A label describing the fact (e.g., “Target audience”, “Brand voice guidelines”, “Company policy”)
- Core – Whether to always include this fact in context
Facts are chunked and embedded just like web content, so they’re searchable by meaning. A fact about “our target customers are enterprise SaaS companies” will match searches for “who do we sell to?” or “ideal customer profile”.
When to Use Facts
Facts are best for:
- Company details – founding date, mission, team members
- Product information – features, pricing tiers, limitations
- Brand guidelines – tone of voice, terminology, dos and don’ts
- Policies – returns, support hours, SLAs
- Context – competitive positioning, target audience, market details
Facts can be edited after creation. When you update a fact, TeamWeb AI re-embeds the content automatically so search results reflect the latest version.
