Postmark

The Postmark email channel allows your assistant to receive and respond to emails. When configured:

  • New inbound emails are routed to the assistant’s Inbox as threaded items
  • The assistant automatically triages and responds using its inbox tools
  • Replies from the assistant are sent back as emails to the sender
  • Follow-up replies from the sender are threaded into the same inbox item
  • Email threading is maintained using message IDs and reply tokens
  • File attachments are supported in both directions
Inbound emails now go through the Inbox rather than creating direct conversations. This gives both the assistant and admins a clear view of external communications. See Inbox for details.
